Puppy Harness Rental Program at Fetch the Leash
We want to help you prevent leash pulling before it starts, but we understand that good quality no-pull harnesses are an investment. Rather than having to buy multiple harnesses as your puppy grows, you can take advantage of our harness rental program to save money and get started right away. Here’s how it works:
Puppy guardians pay a deposit for their dog’s estimated adult size harness up-front, and then we fit your puppy with a temporary rental harness in their current size from our gently-used rental stock. When your puppy outgrows his current rental size, simply return the smaller size and swap it out for a larger rental until your puppy is fully grown. Once your puppy has fully matured you will be able to swap the final rental for a brand new harness in your dog’s adult size and the color of your choice.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Step 1. We ask everyone to fill out this form which lets us know you understand the policies re: harnesses getting chewed, and how to arrange harness swaps: https://forms.gle/bViKmRXd8bxNBopM9
The form asks for an estimate of your dog’s final adult size - if you need help estimating please let us know which breed your puppy is, or what was estimated by the breeder/veterinarian/rescue organization as far how much they estimate your puppy will weigh as an adult.*
For those of you who may need an XL or XXL harness, please be sure to let us know on the form which color harness you want as we buy the XL & XXL sizes to-order rather than keeping them in stock.
Step 2. Email hello@fetchtheleash.biz to let us know you have completed the form. We will send you an invoice for the estimated adult size deposit, which you can pay online, and then make arrangements for you to pick up the rental harness. If you are in a puppy class with us and regularly attending socials, we can do it during puppy socials, otherwise we are happy to make an appointment with you at an alternative time. Please understand that our rental stock is limited so you may not get a rental in your favorite color.
Step 3. Once your pup has reached maturity, return your final rental harness to us for a brand new harness in your choice of color!

*If it turns out your puppy doesn't grow as big or small as estimated, we can make sure you still get a final harness that's new in the color of your choice once your puppy has fully grown.
